Shiloh
Breed:
Beagle
Dachshund
Age: SeniorSex: Male
Size: Small Description: I am Shiloh or Liloh as my foster moms 1 yr old grandson calls me. I think I am a doxie/beagle mix. I love to snuggle with anyone. I am 11 years old and a very reserved gentleman so I would probably do better with an older single person. I do not play or get rowdy or chew on anything. I just love to be with people. I hate being alone, but will only bark when my foster mom comes home or if someone rings the doorbell. If I can't see my foster mom and I can't find her I have a cute little yip to let her know that I am alone. I tolerate my dog and cat foster siblings, I just ignore them. It took a couple of weeks to learn my new schedule for going potty outside but I have learned that the house needs to be clean. I had been in a dog pound kennel for 5 months, boy am I glad to be out of there.
Shiloh also hates to be dirty. He is picky about where he walks and cleans himself first thing when he comes in the house. No more muddy paw prints in my house. His favorite spot is laying on the top of the couch. I do kennel him at night just because my other dog is kenneled at night and it just makes it easier. When he does sleep with people or if you lay in bed reading he tunnels under the blankets and goes to sleep. Shiloh is good with kids and people. He needs a firm had when it comes to being with other animals. I had to scold him once for snarling at my dog and I have not had a problem since.
Shiloh loves riding in the car just because that is where we are. He is a true cuddle buddy and bonded with me since the day I picked him up.Shiloh is a senior dog looking for a loving home to live out his senior years. He's a little bug bug who is good with kids. He's mellow and not playful. He is neutered, up to date on shots, has had a fecal, is on flea and tick prevention, heart worm negative, just had a dental, and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $280.
