Dogs Needing Homes

Molly

Breed: Terrier

Age: Senior
Sex: Female
Size: Small
Description: Molly is an 11-year old Terrier mix who loves walks! She will jump up and down and spin around if you pull out the leash. She could probably go at least a mile daily if you let her. She also loves car rides. One of her interests that is a little different is that she will hide stray socks and shoes. Actually in the winter (or sock wearing months) she will spin around in excitement when she finds a stray sock. As far as the shoes she only moves these when she doesn't have socks. She doesn't chew on them or hurt them in any way, she just likes to move them. Luckily it is almost always to the same spot. She is super sweet and loving, and greets you with a smile and wagging tail when you arrive home. She would love to sleep with people in the bed if she is allowed, but is happy to find a spot on the floor if you prefer. She also doesn't jump on furniture unless she is invited. She has chased a few squirrels through the yard if she sees them but she loves being outside even without squirrels to chase. Molly hardly ever barks, but she grunts a little when you scratch her chin. She also snores pretty loud but it is SO cute!

Molly is a sweet senior who's been through some rough stuff. She was rescued by an independent rescuer in rural Missouri and had heart worm. She was treated down there and waited for quite a long time for room in a rescue where she would have a better chance at finding a forever home. She is a tough girl to have survived the heart worm treatment, especially at her age. She has no teeth, is missing patches of hair, and is blind in one eye, but she doesn't let any of this stop her from being happy and full of spunk! She is looking for the perfect family to appreciate her loving personality and provide her with all the attention and pampering she deserves in return. Molly honestly is the sweetest dog and she would make anyone's heart melt if they just spent a little bit of time with her. Even the vet said she just has a certain peace about her that is undeniable!

Molly is potty-trained, house-trained, spayed, up to date on shots, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $280.
