Inky
Breed:
Dachshund
Age: AdultSex: Female
Size: Small Description: Inky can easily be mistaken for a black Lab puppy with her big paws and spunky demeanor. But, she is actually an adorable little 4 year old Dachshund mix. Inky weighs about 20lbs, and is mostly black with a white patch on her chest and white spots near her toes. She is a sweet girl and loves to snuggle with people and other dogs. She loves to wrestle with everyone from her foster sister Roxie, a 50lb Pit-Bull, to Charlie, the resident kitten. Inky loves plush toys and tennis balls, and gets super excited to go on walks or go to the park. She enjoys car rides and lets out a cute little whimper when she wants you to take her with you. At the off-leash dog park, Inky stays close to her foster mom and listens very well. She likes to chase after birds and small critters, but she comes back when you call her. Inky loves to sleep on the bed and snores ever so softly, but she doesnt take up much room at all. Inky was rescued over a year ago by a group in Tennessee, but was living in a barn with few opportunities to be adopted. Now that she is with Small Dog Rescue, we know that she will find an amazing home and a family to call her own.
Inky is a happy, healthy girl who just wants to be loved and adored. She would prefer a home with another playful cat or dog for company. Inky is faithfully potty-trained and housebroken, spayed, up to date on shots, heart worm negative and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $325.
- You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website.
- Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philisophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.
- We are offering a microchip placement for your resident dog for small donation to our rescue
- Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes.
