Dogs Needing Homes
Turbo
Breed:
Basenji
Age: AdultSex: Male
Size: Small Description: Turbo loves to be around his foster mom and is always at her side whether it be on the couch or in the bed. He is still a little nervous around his foster dad, but it starting to understand that he is not going to hurt him. He does sleep with them in thier bed curled up in a ball with Diesel. He doesn't quite get that his name is Turbo, but he pretty much knows when he is being called. He is energetic, but knows when he needs to be calm too. He likes to run around with the 4 other dogs that live with him. He is very inquisitive as long as there is a human close by, and he doesn't have a problem going outside for short periods of time. He is getting used to living with other dogs and is still a bit weary of them when they get too close, but it getting much better. He doesn't mind or bother the cats. Turbo walks well on a leash and is being crated when there are no humans home! He is very sturdy looking. He has awesome big ears, very long legs and he likes to make noises- usually some sort grunting, as he is not much of a barker. He is a little bit shorter than Diesel.
Turbo is a 2-3 year old basenji mix who came in with his brother Diesel and we would be thrilled if they could find a home together. Turbo is neutered, up to date on shots, heart worm negative and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $325 or $550 for both him and his brother together.
- You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website.
- Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philisophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.
- We are offering a microchip placement for your resident dog for small donation to our rescue
- Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes.
