Aaron is 5 year old rat-terrier mix (potential of some lab) from a high-kill shelter in Ohio. He is 25 lbs. so a little larger than most rat terriers. He has the mellow personality of a lab and is so sweet and gentle. He gets along very well with the 2 resident dogs and 2 cats. He enjoys curling up on his dog mat and has shown some interest in bones. He is OK in a crate and is housebroken. He tries to mark inside but that behavior can be corrected with proper training. Currently, he is being treated for kennel cough. He was pulled from a high kill dog pound.

His adoption fee is $225 dollars.

Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs. YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO MAKE AN ADOPTION REQUEST.

You MUST FILL out an ADOPTION application BEFORE you are allowed to meet the animal per determination of SDR. Please note that we do NOT have a shelter and ALL animals are in FOSTER homes. Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals sometimes we cannot answer emails very promptly. IT CAN TAKE 48 HOURS TO A WEEK FOR US TO EVALUATE APPLICATIONS AND THEN WE WILL CONTACT YOU.

We usually do not go to any adoption days at any pet store UNLESS listed
in individual dog's bio.
