Lil Fawn
Breed:
Beagle
Pug
Age: YoungSex: Female
Size: Small Description:
Lil Fawn is a frisky 1 yr old beagle/pug mix who is about 17lbs. Fawn traveled all the way from her hoarding situation in Kentucky to Minnesota to join Small Dog Rescue. The first year of her life spent in Kentucky was a rough start for such a sweet girl due to unsanitary living conditions, limited food and clean water and little exposure to human contact. Despite all this, Fawn is quickly adjusting to life inside a loving home.
Fawn loves other dogs, in fact, she is looking for a forever home with another resident dog, who she can befriend and pick up some pointers on home life from. She now gets very excited when her foster mom returns home and her curly tail wags about a mile a minute. She also smiles to show how truly happy she is to see everybody at home with her again. Fawn has decided that sleeping in bed is the truest luxury of home life, she loves to sit by her guardian so she can be petted and scratched behind the ears. As Fawn's exposure to the outside world was limited in the first part of her life we are working on exposing her to new people and places, she is timid, but also curious, which is an excellent progression for her.
Fawn needs an adoptive home who is committed to continue her rehabilitation, she has come a long way in a short period, but still has further to go and with the right family will continue to become a well-adjusted companion. She is housetrained.
Fawn is spayed and up to date with shots. She is intestinal parasite and heartworm free. Fawn is microchipped and her adoption fee is $300
