Akaysha is a 14 week old mix pup who looks much like a mini lab, she has been estimated to grow no bigger than 20lbs. Akaysha is a typical pup, she has a lot of energy and likes all the attention. She's happy to just sit on your lap, gives many kisses, my arm is tired from all the petting I've been doing with this little girl. I think she was the smallest of the litter but she can play hard with her big brother. Big brother sits on her when he's had enough. She had a problem with walking on a leash, she thought she was suppose to jump on me all the time but only after 2 days she now knows that she's supposed to do - guide me and little brother on all walks! She makes SEVERAL pit stops just to roll in the grass. I think this is when she's in her glory. When inside she follows me everywhere so I call her my little trailor. She's very social and accepts petting from strangers and she is very smart. I think she will do good with potty training. She would also do good with small children and other dogs, more the merrier for her.

Akaysha is spayed, up to date with shots and intestinal parasite negative. She is also micrchipped. Her adoption fee is $330.

• You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website.
• Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philisophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.

• Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes. Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals, sometimes we cannot answer emails promptly. Please allow 48 hours for us to respond to you.
