Dogs Needing Homes
Jack Russell Terrier
Milo still has lots of puppy left in him but is quick to calm down when play time is over. Milo loves life and is excited to be out of a North Dakota animal shelter and into a foster home here in Minnesota. He is truly a special little guy that had a ruff start to life having suffered trauma to his hip and leg at a young age. The trauma left Milo with a permanent limp, but that does not slow him down!
Milo enjoys running around and playing with the two resident dogs in his foster home and going for short walks. He likes to go for car rides, looking out the bay window at the birds and watching tv cuddled up on the couch with his foster family. Milo seems to like everyone and does great with the teenager in the house.
If that's not enough get ready for this, Milo is potty trained! He did do some marking but is over that now. When he needs to go out he sits by the door, if you don't notice him he will put his paws up on the door to get your attention. Milo is also working on kennel training and is doing well with it.
Milo is one of the most affectionate dogs we have fostered, he holds no ill feeling towards people and is sincerely grateful to be in a home with a loving family. Milo would do well as an only dog or in a home with other dogs. He did not seem to pay much attention to the cats at a recent adoption event so I think he might be ok with them too. Milo would also like children that are a little older as he is so small.
Milo is neutered,up to date on his shots, and had a much needed dental. He is intestinal parasite and heartworm negative. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention and he is microchipped. His adoption fee is $330.
You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website.
Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philisophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.
We are offering a microchip placement for your resident dog for small donation to our rescue
Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes. Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals, sometimes we cannot answer emails promptly. Please allow 48 hours for us to respond to you.
