Dogs Needing Homes
BeeBee
Breed:
Beagle
Age: AdultSex: Female
Size: Small Description:
BeeBee is a 6 year old sweetheart! This purebred adult Beagle was brought to Minnesota from a shelter in Missouri, where she was scheduled to be euthanized due to overcrowding. She can't believe her luck! She's now living the good life in a foster home, but dreams of finding a real home that will keep her forever and ever. Could that home be yours?
BeeBee has lovely manners and is a true lady. Currently BeeBee is learning all about living in a house it's all so new to her! - but is quickly picking up on potty training and house rules. She may need a refresher course in these when she moves to your house, but promises to try her best to be a Good Girl. She really loves to make her people happy, and hopes you'll be patient with her if she occasionally makes a little mistake at first. She is crate trained and is learning how to play. No one had to teach her how to snuggle she's already an expert at that!
BeeBee would prefer a quiet household where she will get lots of love and attention. She really enjoys cuddle sessions with her special person, but is also happy to curl up in a dog bed when you're busy. She can be a bit timid right now due to all the changes in her life, but we know that she's just going to blossom once she finds that special someone to help her feel safe and loved!
BeeBee is a refined Southern Belle who would prefer not to have a lot of chaos from young children or rambunctious pets. Since she hasn't always had enough food (she was quite thin when she came to us: her ideal weight is likely around 20 pounds), she doesn't always share well with others. Her foster mom is teaching her that she doesn't have to worry about guarding her food anymore. She could easily live with other well-mannered dogs or cats, but she'd be thrilled to be your only pet as well. BeeBee is not a typical noisy Beagle and is very quiet, so would do just fine in an apartment or condo. She also rides well in the car and would be happy to join you on car trips.
If you would love a dainty lady Beagle like BeeBee, please fill out an adoption application, or come visit her in person at an adoption day. She would love to be a big part of your life. All of BeeBee's health care has been completed, including a spay, heartworm treatment, dental cleaning to brighten up her smile, and all her shots and microchip so she's ready to go home now! Her adoption fee is $330, which is less then the cost of all her vet bills. She is going to make someone very happy, and can't wait to find that special person who will be her companion in the years to come. BeeBee is also attending Obedience Classes donated from Paws Abilities in Rochester!

- You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website.
- Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philisophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.
- We are offering a microchip placement for your resident dog for small donation to our rescue
- Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes. Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals, sometimes we cannot answer emails promptly. Please allow 48 hours for us to respond to you.
