Betty Boop

Breed: Rat Terrier

Age: Adult
Sex: Female
Size: Small
Description: Betty Boop is a sweet and playful little girl. Her vet believes she is part Italian Greyhound due to her very long legs. Betty came to us in fairly rough shape and has blossomed into a healthy and happy dog. Because she has such long legs, she can be quite the escape artist! Gates and counters aren't all that high for her even though she is a small dog. She loves to run and can run fast! Betty Boop would probably do best in a home with a fenced yard to allow her to run off all her long-legged terrier energy. She doesn't really know any commands but she's completely house-broken. She gets along very well with other dogs too. Betty walks great on a leash and rides wonderfully in the car. She loves to sleep curled up at the foot of the bed. She can be quite the cuddler as well. She is the most unique looking small dog I have had the pleasure to foster and I love having her around!

Betty Boop came to us from an overcrowded rescue in Tennessee. Betty weights about 14lbs, and her paperwork pegs her at 3 years old. She is a curious, sweet, friendly girl. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, has had a fecal, a heart worm test, been treated for flea and tick prevention, and she is micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $300

You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website.

Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philosophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.

We are offering a microchip placement for your resident dog for small donation to our rescue

Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes. Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals, sometimes we cannot answer emails promptly. Please allow 48 hours for us to respond to you.

You must be 18 years of age to make an adoption request
