Dogs Needing Homes

Frank

Breed: Dachshund

Age: Young
Sex: Male
Size: Small
Description:
Frank the mini doxie is 11 lbs of pure furry joy! He is the perfect companion animal. He will stay by your side on walks or at home. He loves a lap to lay in, but is happy with his doggie bed too. Frank would love to find a home where someone is home most of the time. He could spend a day chewing on fuzzy toys or chewy tendons and lounging around in peace. He'd love to play with other doggies that are a fair match in size or are gentle if bigger than him. Cats are ok too. He gets scared when he's left alone for too long so a family with someone at home or with other animals that he can keep company with would be an ideal place for Frank. He knows sit and stay and how to make your heart melt with a single glance. He is almost fully housebroken and knows to use a potty pad when he can't make it outside. He has the sweetest demeanor and the softest coat and just wants a home to share these amazing qualities with.

Frank is a 22 month old mini doxie who would love to live with someone who will spoil him and love him to pieces, of course. He is neutered, up to date on shots, heart worm tested, flea and tick treated, has had a fecal, and is micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $325.

  • You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website.
  • Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philisophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.
  • We are offering a microchip placement for your resident dog for small donation to our rescue
  • Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes.
Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals, sometimes we cannot answer emails promptly. Please allow 48 hours for us to respond to you.
  • You must be 18 years of age to make an adoption request
