Dogs Needing Homes

Gomez

Breed: Miniature Pinscher

Age: Baby
Sex: Male
Size: Small
Description: Gomez is a spunky little guy! Hes a sturdy minpin mix that is ready for his forever home! He does great with all dogs (big and small) and isnt bothered by cats. Gomez is a very active dude he goes on 2-3 mile jogs and is ready for more so he needs an active family. Even though he has lots of energy he still loves to cuddle! He loves to snuggle up next to whoever is sitting down and would prefer to sleep with you at night. Right now he is being kenneled at night and whenever his foster parents arent home. He is still getting used to the idea of being confined. He's apparently house trained (not a single accident); he just needs to develop a signal to go out. Gomez does well on a leash and is working on other commands such as sit, stay and come. He is not food aggressive and enjoys meeting the children in the neighborhood! However he does need to work on not jumping up.

Gomez is a min pin mix weighing in about 15lbs and is a sturdy pup. He is transitioning wonderfully in his foster home and gets along fabulous with the resident dog. He is a little unsure with new people and situations, but quickly come around with a gentle voice/hand. He is mostly house trained; just needs to work on letting you know when he needs to go out, and he's using a piddle pad for those times when he isn't getting outside-very impressive, he hasnt had an accident since his 1st day! He also needs some work on recognizing his name when he is called. He really enjoys the fenced in back yard at his current foster home and would enjoy having this as an option in his forever home. Gomez seems to really enjoy squeaky toys-and has a blast stealing the toy another dog is playing with. Gomez walks extremely well on a leash He is showing a lot of potential with training, such as stay, sit, etc. and will need someone to spend some more time working on these-but he is smart and catching on quickly. He prefers to sleep with you, especially under the blankets-and are great with the 3 kids in the foster home. Gomez loves to give kisses. He would make a fabulous addition to some lucky persons family and has lots of love and affection to give.

Gomez is neutered, up to date on shots, has had a fecal and heart worm test, is on flea and tick preventative, and has a micro-chip. His adoption fee is $325.
