Dogs Needing Homes

Snap

Breed: Miniature Pinscher Chihuahua

Age: Adult
Sex: Male
Size: Small
Description: Snap is a good boy! He likes dogs, cats, men, women, children. He is quiet, gentle, likes food but doesn't beg and seems to be house trained! He would be a good family dog with respectful older children (no toddlers). He would be a great companion for a retired couple, also. I think he would work with just about any situation. He could live with other animals or be the only dog. He had his choice of sleeping spots, his bed, our bed, but he choice the computer chair. He has a nick on his ear and a couple of scars so he must have had a hard start in life but he sure turned out to be a gentle, sweetheart! He weights just under 19lbs so he is overweight but he's working on that. His eyes aren't the typical brown or black they are a warm gold. He walks well on a leash and might not like a kennel but it's not necessary anyway.

Snap is a 5 year old min pin chi mix who came to Small Dog Rescue from Tennessee with a bunch of other dogs. He is a happy guy with a little swagger in his walk. He gets along well with other dogs and frequently smiles. He's neutered, up to date on shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm prevention, and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $325.

You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website.

Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philisophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.

We are offering a microchip placement for your resident dog for small donation to our rescue

Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes. Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals, sometimes we cannot answer emails promptly. Please allow 48 hours for us to respond to you.

You must be 18 years of age to make an adoption request
