Update: My name is Renaldo and I am a 6 lb. Chihuahua Shih Tzu mix (so I shed very little and am hypoallergenic). I am a very mellow, low key guy who loves laps, table scraps and to be by your side whenever and whatever you are doing. I love to be held and beg to be picked up. This has earned me superstar status as I won the director over in my audition for the play Gypsy at the Rochester Civic Theater this March. I am housetrained, up to date on my shots, neutered and have had extensive dental work (my charming smile is from a few missing teeth) I am looking for someone who needs my undying devotion and constant company.

I'm Renaldo! I am a VERY small and cute Chihuahua/shi tzu mix. (which means I am shed free!) I just arrived at my new foster home and am setteling in quite nicely. I love my foster mom and dad so very much already and I paw up on them when I want them to pick me up. I love to be held. After being alone for so many years, I can't get enough of it! I get along great with my 3 other foster brother and sisters. I like to follow them around wherever they go so they can show me the ropes of life being a REAL doggie. I'm not quite potty trained. I am wearing a belly band currently because I really like to mark pretty much anything and everything. However, I'm so excited about being in a real home with humans and other dogs, can you really blame me? Oh, I am a treat FANATIC! I love my treats so with lots of rewarding, I just bet I can get this potty thing down. I am looking for a home where I can FINALLY be a real lap dog. I just want someone to hold me and love me and I promise to love you just as much!

Renaldo is a chihuahua shih tzu mix from a puppy mill. He is a bit timid and would do best in a home with another dog who is well adjusted and friendly to show him the ropes. He is neutered and will have a dental and bloowork done before going to a forever home, in addition to being up to date on shots, heart worm tested, de-wormed, frontlined, and micro-chipped! his adoption fee is $325.

Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philisophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.
