Description: Hi I'm Hank the one year old beagle! I might be a little shy at first but once I know you like me I get over this. My new foster home is great! I love going for walks every day and I even get to go to doggy school once a week! At doggy school I am learning all kinds of cool things like, sit, off, lay down, come when called and so much more I can't keep track. One of the other things I am good at is loose leash walking, this means I do not pull on my leash when we are out on a walk. I hate to go on about myself but I am also house trained! We are working on kennel training (I am clean in my kennel) which is going good, and how to not be so scared of new people. This is hard because I know that not all people are nice to dogs. I also like to play with my 13 year old foster brother and the other two dogs that live here too! My foster mom said I am a joy to be around because I am so happy all the time!

Hank is a one year old neutered beagel that came to SDR from a pound in IL. He was not valued in his first home and was kept outside. Hank would be happy as an only dog or with others, he gets along well with both our male and female resident dogs. He also loves to hang out and watch tv with us after a hard day of being a puppy. Looking out the window for squirrels is also a favorite pastime for him. Hank is all about pleasing the humans in his life and is doing well with basic obedience. He was skittish at first but has warmed up to gentle hands and kindness. Once you get to know him there is nothing you won't love about him.

He is neutered, up to date on shots, heart worm tested, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $350.

Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philisophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.
