Description: I'm Sophie, a 7 year old 10 pound Shih Tzu. I had a bit of a rough past....I am a retired breeding dog who has had many many litters. BOY am I ready for MY forever home! I am as SWEET as can be!! I have the cutest little prance I do! I liked to be petted and kissed, but I also like my own space as well. I'm very happy just laying in a dog bed at my foster mom or dads feet. I currently live in a crazy house with a couple young kids and 3 other dogs. They try to play with me, which is fine, I don't mind them, but I really just like to sit in my doggie bed by my humans. My foster mom's favorite thing about me is that when I fall asleep, I snore softly... :)

I'm hard of hearing and possibly have some sight problems to. But neither bother me. I still prance around, being my happy go lucky self. I'm just happy to be in a warm home with people who love me. I can't wait to find my forever home. It took my foster family all of 2 minutes to fall in love with me, I'm sure it wouldn't take you much longer...

Sophie is spayed, has received a dental, heart worm negative, vaccinated and micro-chipped. She will need to have eye drops put in daily for the rest of her life (not a big deal) because she has dry eye. Sophie will do best in a home with other dogs so she does not get lonely, and a home where she does not need to be crated. She does good pottying outside as long as she is let out frequenstly. Her adoption fee is $325.
