Dogs Needing Homes

Breed: Rat Terrier

Age: Adult
Sex: Female
Size: Small
Description: Birdie has come out of her shell in such a short time being with me and my family of kids, dog and cats. She loves to toss up toys and throw them around so she can chase them and play with them. She'll run around with the other dogs and want to play. She will lay at my feet or up on my pillow when we go to bed. She is still scared when being approached but she will let me pet her and hold her if I move slowly. She loves her treats and takes them very gently from me. She likes to follow me around the house, still unsure of what I am going to do but she is not hiding and I can tell she want to jump up on my lap with the other dogs, she's just not sure if she should yet. She has a great personality and wants to be someone's best friend. I think she would be best with smaller dogs or no dogs, she could care less about the cats and older children would be better fit for her or no kids at all.

Birdie was seized from a neglectful situation and she really needs a home who will spoil her. She is a sweetheart of a girl. She is spayed, UTD on her shots, HW negative, wormed, and micro-chipped. She has gorgeous, unusual coloring and her adoption fee is $300. She is pee pad trained for most of the time with occasional accident.
