Dogs Needing Homes
Noni is 6 years old and weighs 18 pounds . She is a retired breeding dog, and long and low to the ground. She is spayed and has had a dental since coming into rescue and had ten teeth pulled. She is very mellow, quiet, gets along great with other dogs, is house trained, and ignores cats. She would make an excellent companion to a resident dog. She rides great in the car, loves to be brushed, and likes to pounce on stuffed toys. She isn't used to walking on a leash, so she will need help getting used to that. Her tongue has been hanging out a bit since she had all of those teeth removed, but it doesn't mean it always will. She has been eating a mixture of dry and canned food since her teeth were pulled.
She is a wonderful girl, really sweet, who is all vetted and ready to be adopted. She loves to be brushed, rides great in the car, great with other dogs, and ignores cats. She recently had 10 teeth pulled, so she's eating a mixture of canned and dry food. She is a darling girl who would make a splendid second dog.
Noni isn't quite sure what to do on a leash. However, she is not a fast mover and is more than happy to follow me around the yard. She can do stairs, but I would say the fewer, the better. This sweetie got attached to her foster mom very quickly an I'm sure she will do the same for her new family. She likes to wander around the house wagging her tail. She is not high energy and is more than happy to lay on the floor, tail still wagging away!
I can't say enough good things about Noni. She would be perfect for someone who is looking for a mellow, laid-back dog.
She is spayed, up to date on her shots, frontlined, on heart worm preventative, micro-chipped, heart worm negative, and de-wormed. She also gets a free exam at Nokomis Pet Clinic within two weeks of her adoption. Her adoption fee is $350.
