Bogey loves all people, especially children. The more attention he gets the better. He likes dogs that are his size or smaller. He does tend to get uncomfortable around bigger dogs, especially black ones. He loves to play with other dogs, but appreciates being left alone when he gets tired out! He would probably do great in a home with children and other dogs as long as he can get his alone time on the couch when needed.
Bogey follows his nose at all times. He would love to live in a house with a yard to be able to explore with his snout! He is very good about coming when he is called, but being fenced or on a leash is a must since he will follow his nose wherever it may lead him if he is given the chance. He loves to chew so having bones around seems to help. He loves dog toys that are like stuffed animals, especially the ones designed to train hunting dogs. He also likes ropes and the toys he has to manipulate to get treats out.
Bogey is completely house trained. He is an extremely friendly boy. He loves people and just wants to be part of the familyso he would be the perfect first dog for a family looking to add a lovable canine to their crew! He doesnt lick much, but touches your skin with his nose to show affection. Bogey has an enormous amount of love to give and just wants someone near him at all times to receive it!
He is neutered, UTD on shots, has had a fecal, heart worm test, and is micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $325.
