Small Dog Rescue of Minnesota (SDR) is an all-volunteer group committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of dogs 20 pounds and under.

Emily is an 11 week old Jack Russell Terrier puppy who was nearly put to sleep by a breeder because a vet wouldn't give her the necessary paperwork to sell her in a pet shop.  As you know, Small Dog Rescue urges people to always adopt from a rescue or shelter and never to buy puppies from a pet store - and this is one of the reasons why.   

Emily's knees need some help.  She can't stand easily and she has so much energy and just wants to play.  It breaks her foster mom's heart.  But we're committed to getting Emily the care she needs.  She has a vet appointment on Thursday to get looked over, and we'll find out exactly what's going on and how to help.
