It's Puppy Mill Rescue Time.... Again!
7/30/2009 5:51 PM
It's that time again. Time to head out to rescue some sad little dogs from a puppy mill.
Small Dog Rescue was able to take in 11 dogs from the last mill rescue we helped with, and so far we are expecting no fewer than 12 dogs this time around.
This means we need some more money.
These dogs come out of the mill never having had a hug, scratches behind the ears, a kiss, a bath, a walk, or a toy. They have not been given yearly check ups, they are matted and filthy, in need of grooming and a lot of vet care.
Consider being a sponsor for a mill dog, or sponsoring a spay or neuter. Spays are usually $150 and neuters are usually $110. We really, really need donations right now. If you can donate, please do. If you have friends who may be willing to donate, please ask them to help.
We have raised $450 dollars so far this week, but with all of the vet bills, we're in need of more like $3,000. I know it's a large number, but every bit helps. Please use the paypal button on the left and help us help these dogs. Chances are that someone like me begged someone like you to help your dog once - so please, please help a puppy out.
