Small Dog Rescue of Minnesota (SDR) is an all-volunteer group committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of dogs 20 pounds and under.

Many of you have heard that the MN puppy and kitten mill bill did not pass the Ag Committee earlier this week.  For details, you can visit the Animal Folks MN site.

This just makes it all the more important for us to have more people than ever at the Petland Demo in Shakopee this Sunday from 11am-12pm.  The average person has limited power and sway with politics, but the average person can do a whole lot when it comes to educating others about puppy and kitten mills and getting people to rescue instead of buy, and boycott companies who support these cruel mills.

The Petland demos are always peaceful and legal and they are a part of a national effort to get Petland, the largest chain still supporting puppy and kitten mills, to stop selling sick animals from cruel facilities.  Please, join us on Sunday to help send a message to MN politicians and Petland execs alike, educate the public about mills, and give and recieve moral support to and from others who care.
