Lola the Pug is the Spay Giveaway Winner!
3/2/2010 3:33 PM
Congratulations to Lola the pug, the one on the left in the blue harness, the proud recipient of Small Dog Rescue's Spay Giveaway in honor of Spay Day USA (February23rd) and National Prevent A Litter Month (February). Lola's mom is a nursing student and is really grateful for the opportunity to get Lola fixed. Small Dog Rescue is thrilled to be able to provide at least one spay to a dog who will never come through our program because we realize that preventing litters of puppies is the best way to stop unecessary killing of dogs.
We're busy getting ready for the Twin Cities Pet Expo this weekend in downtown Minneapolis. If you're planning to go, make sure to stop by the Small Dog rescue booth! We'll have information about adopting and volunteering, hand knit (dog and human) items for sale to benefit spay and neuter efforts, and tee shirts for humans, too! See our events page for details.
