After an adoption, a volunteer from SDR sends the adopter a congratulaitions note and invites them to stay in touch. This response was just too great not to share. We love our adopive families!

Thanks for your note. Amy is a real sweetheart. I understand that she spent most of her life in a grated cage with puppies, let out only occasionally. Guess that explains why she wants me to hold her 100% of the time -- which is fine by me! A perfect match.

SDR has done a fine job through this whole process. Your dedication and devotion to our four-footed friends really shows, and I'm thankful for all you do. Nice work! I'll do my best to spread the word to others that might be interested in helping or finding a new pet.
