Ever Thought About Fostering?
1/4/2010 11:44 AM
Small Dog Rescue has a huge waiting list of dogs waiting to get in to our program and often times the only reason we can't take a dog into SDR is because we simply don't have room. We're on a mission to recruit many new foster volunteers in the new year, and we are also looking for people who are interested in fostering to adopt, which means that you fill out an adoption application but agree to foster a dog that sounds like a dog you may be interested in adopting. If you fall in love, you have been pre-approved to adopt and we simply adopt the dog to you. If you don't fall in love, then you agree to foster the dog until we have found a suitable adoptive family for the dog.
We have lots of dogs like Snap, pictured here, who are waiting for a safe foster home and a loving forever home. Please help spread the word! And know that fostering to adopt is an option.
