Mini Mite and Becca (his foster mom) featured in Rochester Post Bulletin
12/14/2009 5:30 PM
Thanks so much to Debi Neville for writing an article about giving animals as holiday gifts and why it's not such a great idea. Small Dog Rescue is all about making sure animals go to the right people for the right reasons at the right time, and we are honored to have been asked to give our two cents about the issue in the Post Bulletin. Becca Stiles-Nogosek, our Rochester Coordinator, and her foster dog, Mini Mite, were featured in this important article.
SDR is not opposed to adopting dogs during the holidays - saving a life is great no matter when you do it! However, we do want to be sure that the dog is given priority over all the other things that tend to pull for our attention during this hectic time of year.
