Small Dog Rescue of Minnesota (SDR) is an all-volunteer group committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of dogs 20 pounds and under.

First off: Congratulations to Abby for being adopted by her foster parents! 

Abby's adoption left an opening for a new featured dog, and Abel is it.  You may not have noticed the change since he is a black poodle, just like Abby was, so we wanted to make sure to point it out.  Not that I don't have confidence in your observation abilities or anything.

If you looked up 'cuddle bug' in the encyclopedia, there's a good chance there would be a photo of Abel there to illustrate exactly what one looks like.  This boy loves* people.  He loves other dogs, he loves kids... he just wants to be around people and dogs all the time.  So another dog in the home is a must, and we would love to see him go to a home with a stay at home parent or a person who works from home or is retired.  He's a puppy mill survivor, so he has a lot of lost affection to make up for.  He's really sweet, and we know he'll be the love of someone's life if they give him a chance.
