Congratulations On Your Gradulation, Hank!
12/3/2009 9:06 PM
Hank the Beagle graduated from level one obedience training! Here he is with his diploma, which he is a little leary of. (Poor Guy! Still a bit timid.) Many thanks go out to his foster family, not only for committing to taking him to class every week and doing homework with him in between classes, but also for paying for him to go! (Their idea, we love it!)
Hank is a bona-fide smart guy who has come such a long way since arriving at SDR. I confess I have taken a special interest in Hank because his story is so much like my own beagle's story: Left alone in an outdoor kennel 24/7 prior to rescue, Hank had little exposure to people, different kinds of environments, or love and affection. He has come miles since he arrived, scared and naughty. Look at him now: a scholar!
For more about Hank and our other adoptble dogs (including other beagles!) check out our Adoptable Dogs.
Also, remember that we will be wrapping gifts at Borders in Richfield again on Friday, December 4th between 10am-4pm. I had some gifts wrapped today and I can tell you it's a real treat. And so nice to have one less thing to worry about during a hectic holiday season :)
