Small Dog Rescue of Minnesota (SDR) is an all-volunteer group committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of dogs 20 pounds and under.

Rochester, MN will never be the same: Abby the poodle has arrived in her new foster home and is taking the city by storm.  Busy as ever busting myths about senior dogs, Abby has brought surprise and delight to her new foster family.  She has weathered the transition gracefully and already has a grooming appointment scheduled for tomorrow in preparation for her television debut on Tuesday night.  KTTC's 5 o'clock news will feature Abby, where she will serve as both an ambassador for Small Dog Rescue and senior dogs.  November is Adopt-A-Senior-Dog month, remember!  Abby would do very well in a home where she had company most of the day - either a retired person or couple, or someone who is mostly home-bound due to a disability, perhaps?
