Come meet the Small Dog Rescue dog crew! We have lots and lots of little dogs in need of loving homes. They may have little bodies, but these dogs have big hearts and they are seeking people with the same. Come say hello, meet and greet the dogs, and feel free to ask questions about getting involved and helping out, too.

Petland Protest in Shakopee

Join us for peaceful demonstrations at Petland because Petland stores purchase puppies and kittens from mass dog and cat breeders (known as puppy and kitten mills) throughout the United States. The intense suffering of animals in mills is well documented. Peaceful store protests have proven successful in other states in educating consumers about inhumane breeding and highlighting Petland's involvement. If you can bring your own sign, please do. Some signs will be available there.

Twin Cities Pride Festival

Small Dog Rescue is honored and excited to have been invited to participate in the 2010 Twin Cities Pride Festival's first ever dog-focused events! Details are still being hammered out, but here is a tentative time line: 11:00-12:00 K-9 demo; 12:00-4:00 rescue event and lure coursing event; 4:00 Doggy Drag Show at the Stonewall Stage. It'll be a blast and we hope to see you there.!
Big Hogs for Small Dogs Fundraiser Motorcycle Ride
